Overview

Chrome extension for speed reading using RSVP. Adaptive pacing per word, comprehension checkpoints with fill-in-the-blank recall, Markdown-exportable bookmarks, session persistence, and weekly reading stats.

Astrape uses Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP) to display words one at a time at configurable speeds. It adapts pacing per word based on length and complexity, so longer words get more dwell time. Comprehension checkpoints use fill-in-the-blank recall to verify reading retention. Sessions persist across browser tabs, and reading stats are tracked weekly with visual progress charts. Bookmarks export as Markdown for use in note-taking apps.
