Where I'm from

I was born and raised in Vietnam. I moved to the US ever since I was 6. Both parents worked as cooks, telling me to become a doctor one day. Safe to say that I did not pick that. I studied Computer Engineering at UC San Diego. Growing up I was always taking things apart to see how they worked. Turns out that instinct translates well to software.

What I do now

I'm a Founding Engineer at CheckRx, building Medicare intelligence tools that serve 500+ users. Previously co-founded Mocktalk, an AI mock interview platform with real-time conversational AI.

Where I'm at now

Based in California. When I'm not coding, you'll find me at the gym, gaming with friends, or discovering new music.

What I'm looking for

Impactful, purposeful work with a small team of talented people. I like building things that are useful on day one, not just technically impressive.
